Written by Lainne on Monday, May 18, 2009 I went on a beautiful walk today. En route I met a new four legged friend. A little puppy, full of spunk and desperate for attention. He was in his front yard surrounded by an iron fence, and all alone. He was sticking his nose through the fence in hopes that he might catch someone's attention. I love puppies of all kinds so I was thrilled to stop and give him a pet. He was very thankful and showed his appreciation with wet kisses. I was overcome by a feeling of joy. I said bye to the puppy and continued on my way. Funny thing-my puppy encounter left me shining with a happiness that stayed with me for most of the day. It got me thinking about what other things or encounters have had that effect on me, and if I have ever had that effect on anyone... something to aspire to. How many people's (or puppies) lives can I shine some light into?
